ESPN NFL Insider John Clayton joins NFL32 to discuss the market for former Baylor WR Josh Gordon.
The Cleveland Browns selected former Baylor wide receiver Josh Gordon in the second round of the supplemental draft Thursday.
The Browns lose their 2013 second-round pick in exchange for picking Gordon.
Gordon, who visited Cleveland last Thursday and Friday, ran a 4.52 40-yard dash in front of representatives from 21 teams at his pro day Tuesday, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Gordon spent last season out of football after Baylor dismissed him from the team in August 2011. Gordon was suspended at Baylor for a failed marijuana test, he told the Chronicle.
“It was against school policy, of course, and I was (suspended) in the summer. I’ve definitely put that part of my life behind me. I don’t plan to ever go back there. It was a difficult time, but I learned from it, and I’ve moved on.”
Gordon was the only player claimed in the first two rounds Thursday.
