MIAMI — The Miami Heat are now listing forward-center Chris Bosh as “day to day,” and are not ruling out the possibility that he may play in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night.
The series is tied at two games apiece.
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra says he plans to continue evaluating Bosh. Spoelstra says “it’s premature to say he’ll definitely play.”
Bosh was injured late in the first half of the opening game in the Indiana-Miami second round series on May 13. The team never committed to any timeframe for his return, other than saying he was out indefinitely.
In the nine postseason games since, Miami has gone 5-4.
